File setup tips

PDFs. Please supply high quality print PDF files or Photoshop images. Create at actual print size for optimal image quality if possible. Excellent results can also be achieved from other file types but also can be unpredictable.

Scale. We can enlarge your file to the size you want however - please make sure the proportions are correct or we will not print it. That is if you supply an A4 size file and request a print 1m x 2m we can make one dimension correct but not the other.

Scans. 200ppi max at output size.

Spot Colours. If critical Pantone colours are used in your job please note in your communication to us when ordering. PMS colours in EPS and PDF files should print fairly accurately without us even knowing, however please be aware some Pantone colors are impossible to reproduce exactly.

Colour space: RGB images with embedded profile will give accurate colour but please check the Photoshop CMYK preview as some RGB colours may not print as on screen.

EPS files. Please outline or embed your fonts. Saving large EPS files without a preview will result in a much smaller file size.

Online file transfers. If not sending PDF or Jpeg files please compress your job files with Stuffit (Mac) or Winzip (PC). This keeps all your job files together as well as keeping transmission times down.
